The George J. Maloof Memorial Air Park is a FRIA approved safe and convenient facility for flying remote control aircraft, helicopters and drones. Located on the West Mesa overlooking Albuquerque the Park offers the following amenities: 750 ft by 100 ft newly repaved runway (2019) with 30 ft overruns and six pilot stations Helicopter/Drone area with three 10 ft x 10 ft landing pads U-control area to the east of the main parking lot Covered assembly area with five brand new (2019) 4x8 ft steel powder coated work tables Electric available for charging Expanded pit area Fresh water spigot Restrooms Plenty of paved parking | |||
