Latest News!

*** Maloof Open ***

June, 2021. Maloof is open with the current COVID-Safe practices.

Your Board is working with the City on the latest issue - site security. The City may start opening the gate at 8AM (not 7AM) and locking at 4 or 5PM until a better solution is found - perhaps keys or combinations for those early and late fliers. If you are locked out or locked in notify an ARCC officer or the city .

Contracts to re-surface the runway and lay concrete in the pit area have been signed. Waiting for Santa Fe to transfer the CIP money the board helped obtain in 2019-2020.

Fun Scale Fun Fly

Lots of nice planes and nice people showed up for our scale fun fly. Thanks to Les and Korry for providing some great burgers and hot dogs. Pilots choice went to Brian Regan. Perhaps someone who took picutures can share with an officer and we can post those with this article.

ARCC Instructor for New Flyers

Anyone wanting to learn how to fly radio controlled aircraft can now contact a club instructor. You will be asked to provide information about your aircraft, times available and what your plans are to continue as an rc pilot.

Enjoy rc flying by learning how with ARCC's Instructor Pilot.

Charlie Palmer Wins At Top Gun

Charlie took Best WWII Military for his great looking Fieseler Storch. Top Gun was held the first weekend in May in Lakeland Florida. The Storch is the FIRST scale model Charlie has ever made!! Stan Johnson had the task of flying the model and also did a great job. Congratulations to both of them.
