The Albuquerque Radio Control Club was formed in 1955. We do our flying at the George Maloof Memorial Field located on the west side of Albuquerque.
New Pit area
The field will reopen on Friday Oct 9th after the installation of our new pit area concrete. Thanks for your patience while this long anticipated improvement was under construction. The new pit area is complete just in time for the High Desert Jet Meet starting October 13.
Resurfacing of the runway will begin soon after the Jet meet.
New Monthly Meeting Space
Great News. We have a room reserved for our monthly general meetings at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center at 7521 Carmel Ave NE. We will be meeting in room 5 upper floor east end at 7PM on the first Thursday of each month. Thank you Stan for setting this up. Check out the facility and see a map.
Fun Scale Fun Fly
Lots of nice planes and nice people showed up for our scale fun fly. Thanks to Les and Korry for providing some great burgers and hot dogs. Pilots choice went to Brian Regan. Perhaps someone who took picutures can share with an officer and we can post those with this article.

Charlie Palmer Wins At Top Gun
Charlie took Best WWII Military for his great looking Fieseler Storch. Top Gun was held the first weekend in May 2018 in Lakeland Florida. The Storch is the FIRST scale model Charlie has ever made!! Stan Johnson had the task of flying the model and also did a great job. Congratulations to both of them.
