Change in room and day

New Monthly Meeting Space
Change in room and day


We will still be meeting at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center at 7521 Carmel Ave NE. Beginning with the 1 December meeting, we will change from room 5 upper floor east end to the ground floor room 1 (in the front door and to the left. Start time remains 7PM, but has changed to the first Wednesday of each month.

New Pit area

The field will reopen on Friday Oct 9th after the installation of our new pit area concrete. Thanks for your patience while this long anticipated improvement was under construction. The new pit area is complete just in time for the High Desert Jet Meet starting October 13.
Resurfacing of the runway will begin soon after the Jet meet.

Fun Scale Fun Fly

Lots of nice planes and nice people showed up for our scale fun fly. Thanks to Les and Korry for providing some great burgers and hot dogs. Pilots choice went to Brian Regan. Perhaps someone who took picutures can share with an officer and we can post those with this article.

ARCC Instructor for New Flyers

Anyone wanting to learn how to fly radio controlled aircraft can now contact a club instructor. Mr. John Franklin is our club Instructor Pilot, he has been flying for many years and can be available to help new pilots. ARCC Donates Flight Simulators

The ARCC continues to support our community! On behalf of the ARCC, Les Beason delivered two flight simulators and a radio control trainer to the SAMS (Southwest Aeronautics, Mathematics and Science Academy) charter school in October of 2020.
