High Desert Jet Fly-in 2021

Coming October 14th -16th, 2021
A jet event for turbine, ducted fan and turbine helicopter.
Awards to 6-places.

ARCC Instructor for New Flyers

Anyone wanting to learn how to fly radio controlled aircraft can now contact a club instructor. Mr. John Franklin is our club Instructor Pilot, he has been flying for many years and can be available to help new pilots. *** Maloof Opening Up ***

May 1st, 2021. Maloof is open with the COVID-Safe Practices effective at this time.

Your Board of Directors work with the city is paying off. The pavilion has been removed in preparation to build a new one. Your Board will be working with the city on the new pavilion plans and continuing discussions about other needed improvements. Re-surfacing of the runway is in the bidding stage and may occur in the next few months - paid for in part by the Capital Improvement Funds the board help obtain in 2020.

ARCC Donates Flight Simulators

The ARCC continues to support our community! On behalf of the ARCC, Les Beason delivered two flight simulators and a radio control trainer to the SAMS (Southwest Aeronautics, Mathematics and Science Academy) charter school in October of 2020.

Charlie Palmer Wins At Top Gun

Charlie took Best WWII Military for his great looking Fieseler Storch. Top Gun was held the first weekend in May in Lakeland Florida. The Storch is the FIRST scale model Charlie has ever made!! Stan Johnson had the task of flying the model and also did a great job. Congratulations to both of them.
